Replacement Sim Activation

Hi

So basically i had my services suspended, payed my remaining amount today. The customer service lady i spoke to told me she got the all clear for re-activation, told me to buy a new sim, activate it and my services will be back up and running. Now i can't activate my replacement sim because logging into my account says my services are still suspended. How can i get this working again? I have tried everything for the last 4 hrs and it wont work. Called Optus and they were no help, even tried chatting with an optus member and she was no help either. I really don't know want to wait till monday to call again :/
