Re: Removal of Optus Leasing plans

Hi @,

The IMEI of the returned device on the leasing plan will have to match that of the device that was assigned to the plan. Hence, the returned phone cannot be other than the one Optus supplied.

Re: Removal of Optus Leasing plans

Anyone else had trouble cancelling their lease contract after mike's post citing others in the forum being able to cancel theirs?

Re: Removal of Optus Leasing plans

Hey @Meggartner - The devices should be unlocked throughout the contract period. Do you mind sharing what phone you have and if you have tried another carrier SIM in the card? It should just work right away.

Re: Removal of Optus Leasing plans

I assume you've paid Optus the residual and bought the phone outright?

All Optus post paid phones are never locked. Just stick a new SIM in it.
