Proof of Purchase number w/ redeeming Samsung offer

Hello,

I'm trying to redeem Samsung's wireless charger offer that came along with preordering the Galaxy Note 8. The redemption form asks for a Proof of Purchase document as well as a seperate 'Proof of Purchase number'.

I'm not sure whether my contract I received via email counts as the required document or not and I also haven't a clue what the additional Proof of Purchase number is supposed to be.

I hope someone can help me and anybody else having this problem.

Hello,

When I claimed my Samsung charger offer for my Note 8 I used the packing slip that the device arrived with.

It states that it is a proof of purchase so took a photo of that, then used the Optus order number as the proof of purchase number.

To be 100% sure, did Samsung send confirmation that they accepted it?

And just out of curiosity, if you received your charger already, how long did it take for them to ship it?

Hello,

All I have received so far is an email with a reference number so I can log into the samsung website to check its status.

Its currently waiting on a Samsung team member to process the request - says can take 20 days for it to be processed.

Add on a few weeks after that to have the item shipped and its close to 6 weeks wait.
