PORTING OUT OF OPTUS

I have sent a port out request from Optus to Telstra on Friday.  It still hasn't ported over. I'm traveling overseas tomorrow and Telstra don't release the phone until the port is complete.  They have advised me that Optus must authorize the port. How long does this take??

Listed below are the porting times / days, between providers. It can take 15 min to 4 hours for a port to complete during these times:

  • Mon–Fri: 8am–8pm AEST
  • Saturdays: 10am–6pm AEST (except national public holidays)

Hopefully it has ported over now.
