Order

I have placed an on line orde for a new phone and the order given in an email is not registering to track the progress

It can take a couple of days for the Online Order to be processed from a Temp Order Number to a Real Order Number, someone from Optus will usually contact you in a couple of days to discuss your order.  Optus need to do a Credit Check, and place the order in there core system to provision a Simcard etc, you should get a SMS or email with the real tracking order.  If you need to follow up your order, by all means chat with the sales team at Optus Live chat at http://yesopt.us/chat2us
