I have got a 24 month phone plan with Optus last month. At the same time, I also have two numbers with Virgin and both of them will be expired soon. So I received emails from Virgin saying that if I transfer to Optus now I can receive special offers. That is indeed true. However, when I tried to add those two numbers to the existing Optus account since I could get $10 off for them, I got told that they can't apply the 2nd service offer to Virgin customers. I checked terms and conditions on the website and it states like this "These plans can be used in conjunction with any in-market 2nd service offer, but otherwise not available in conjunction with any in-market offers, unless specified from time to time." And also when I signed my Iphone Xs last month in store the guy asked me do you want to upgrade any other devices and I told him I have another two with Virgin. He checked it for me and said I can received 10 bucks off I transfer them. But at that time, I wasn't decided to keep using the old ones or not so I refused it.
So I am so confused right now. Anyone else is in the same situation? Or someone knows what is the true deal?
