Hi, I've been hacked and my number was ported without my permission - can someone please fast-track this process because I need my number back!
They also got into my bank account... thanks Optus.
I can't get over how Optus would let someone port it over without a second-step of verifying who you actually are... perhaps a pin code sent to that phone number!?! Would that work?!? You guys have stuffed up my chance of getting called in for work next week.... will be contacting the Telecommunications Ombudsman.
The porting process is goverened by rules that all providers have to follow - providers are not able to change how this works as then they would not be following the rules set out.
This is managed by the ACMA
