I just transfered my phone number from vodafone to optus, but when I was calling my friends, they can only see "No Caller ID" instead of my number. I have checked that the caller id setting in optus.com/myaccount is on.
Can someone help me with this?
One of my mates was stuffing around with my phone one day and managed to turn my caller ID off. Maybe this setting on your phone is off and if it's an Android have a look at the link below and you may be able to turn it back on. Failing that I would have a word with support on the live chat (second link) below and see if it's a setting on their end.
Edit: I forgot to say if the phone has been ported from another provider you may need to reset the network settings. Information on Optus network setting can be found on the third link below.
When I transferred to Optus caller ID didn't work contacted Optus support and the problem was sorted. Something need to be done their end.
