I got a text today from +***** stating
"Optus requires you to check and update your details to keep your service running.https://optus.ac-au.co/secured/"
On mobile the link goes to a site that passes for an Optus site. It 404s on my PC. FYI @Optus .
That's definitely a scam site when it doesn't have an Optus domain.
This particular one bounces between Russia and Latvia.
You should never click on links unless you are sure they are valid.
