New SIM Activation error PPACT-CHARGE-006

Hi all,

Purchsed $40 prepaid SIM starter pack from Optus website couple of weeks ago, SIM expires 14.03.2021. Tried via both website and Mobile app to  activate and port my number and keep getting this error : 
We're unable to process your recharge request at the moment. Please try again later. Reference: PPACT-CHARGE-006 "
This error appear during step 4. SELECT YOUR PLAN , have 3 plan options and regardless which one I select still get this error. 

I believe error code has something to do with the SIM itself rather than my details.

It prompts me to contact Support, have been trying to get through last two days via both 24x7 chat and phone number, so far no answer.

 

Any suggestions / help?

Disappointing to hear you're having trouble simply trying to activate your SIM.

Please have a go at trying a different browser and clearing your cache.
