Netgear LB2120 with yesbusiness APN

G'day all,

I have recently grabbed a 4G business plan and had Optus set a Static IP (which is necessary for us). Popping the sim in my LB2120, defaults to APN: connect and works perfectly. However, when changing APN to 'yesbusiness' (which I am under the assumption I need to do, to gain the static IP) will then not connect.

Optus are telling me that the LB2120 isn't compatible with the 'yesbusiness' APN. Is this right? Am I missing something? There seems to be no way to manually set the IP on the LB2120, so I assumed it would pull the correct one when set to yesbusiness.

Any help would be great!! Cheers 🙂

Re: Netgear LB2120 with yesbusiness APN

Static IP and even non NAT ips were only available on 3g and not 4g.

Have not heard anything changing in this space, only way for a static public ip is one of the enterprise plans.

Do you have documentation that states otherwise?

I do kniw APN access have to be provisioned on the account, so if its not working that could be an issue.
