Need help with activating my new sim

Brought anew $40 recharge/SIM card and tried activating it and 24 hrs later,I still can't access my account or any features on my handset ( games/ apps) Don't know what I did wrong .Please help?

Morning @Michelle143  , I'm sorry we couldn't catch you sooner. Has there been any progress on your side?

You've mentioned games & apps, but you haven't mentioned whether you can make/receive calls or text messages.

If you're still experiencing the same issue, can I confirm if:

- You've activated a brand-new Optus Mobile number?
- You've switched your number across from another provider to Optus?
- Can you see the Optus Network indicator on the top right of your handsets display?
