NEw Prepaid Sim with new number not getting activated

Hi Just bought new Prepaid Sim from Optus and got it registered with ID. Also got the email confirmation via email that service is now active. However the Iphone shows "Searching.." status on the top. It is more than 24 hours since activation but no sign of Optus sign on the Iphone.

That's a little strange.

Have you tried turning the iPhone off/on?

Did you get that iPhone through Optus / used an Optus SIM in it previously?

Are you able to try the SIM in another phone?
