It looks like optus is going to dump everyones My time Minutes from the Prepaid mobile services and switch the users to some other contract without any compensation for the accrueled my time minutes. The service suited us and we are wondering if anyone else is aware of the stealth move by the company. The critical Summary has been completly removed from the mobile account summary as we currently have other services with optus, maybe not after mid june. your thoughts???SACC
Its annoying when things change but prepaid contracts are obviously less robust than contracts by nature. They're usually plastered with 'Subject to change anytime' clauses. If optus simply cease a prepaid offer then what you have will presumably remain intact until you need to recharge and then you'll need to either pick a new prepaid option or as you say their may be better value elsewhere.
