my plan was a 20gb plan but now it’s up to 120gb with only a few days to go
is this a special promotion?
can you please look into this and let me know why my limit has increased?
If it genuinely has increased, they will fix it by taking it away from you. Be sure you want this to happen.
I don’t mind. I’d rather not be billed more than what I signed up for
its obviously an error which means if this can happen false billing charges can too.

Why don't you wait until you get billed and then complain? No point worrying about things that might happen, especially if it's not your fault.
Optus don't do promotions that way. You would have to bail out and pay to exit a contract.
The way it could happen is if you got transferred to a 100GB plan.
Look in your contracts section of the account, if you can find it.
