Mobile Reception

Recently within the last couple of months I have noted a sharp drop in reception and call quality, a lot of people I have spoken to have also said the same. Is this related to the rollout of 5G at all and what can you advise is the cause of poor reception to the point where a lot of calls are missed and often the line is so garbeled it cant be used. I actually call my wife through facebook messenger now and dont even bother using the voice network?

Highly unlikely this has to do with 5G. It could be a range of things causing it but you'd be best lodging a request directly with Optus by calling so they can investigate
