I have been to Kerry from Optus Mobile who blocked this scam from my bills. She said she will put a complaint to get my money refunded ($9.99 x 2). I would like Optus not to accept this scam to be charged in any account and would like my money back straight away.
I believe Optus are legally obliged to pass on charges for Premium SMS.
I also believe they should set everyone's account to a default of $0 PREMIUM SMS SPEND.
Better still, as Telstra have just done, they should exist the Premium SMS areana completely. It is now just a place for scammers.
