MMS settings

I joined Optus just a couple weeks ago. I left Lebara where I had no troubles sending MMS. Now joined Optus and cannot send. All APN settings checked but still no luck. On my phone's messenger app I ticked the box "WAP push" on. It now works however MMS still does not work with Facebook Messenger. Very sad stuff

Hi,

 

Glad to read that you managed to get some stuff working. Facebook messenger would relate to the data connection on the device and not MMS settings. Check the APN setting relating to "Mobile Data".

Hi Dave I have spent 4 hours on 4 different phone calls.  I can receive Viber images no issue. Now with my WAP option for messages that works. What APN on the internet settings do you think would allow Facebook Messenger images. When I try, my data cuts out and I have to restart the mobile data and no image comes through

Sounds confusing.

 

If you was having issues with data then vibes wouldn't work.. It may be an actual issue with the device?

Hey Canuckbob, have you been able to send and receive MMS since? Check out this link for more troubleshooting. If you're still having issues, shoot us a message here to get our Tech team to look into this for you.
