Stay connected while you travel overseas and share your experiences with family and friends with Optus Roaming Pass.

Say yes to our new $10 Optus Roaming Pass

Get 1GB of data, unlimited talk (with postpaid mobile plans only) and SMS per pass to use in eligible destinations (subject to change). Active for 24 hours or until 1GB of data is used, whichever comes first.

Activating your Optus Roaming Pass couldn’t be easier

Turn Optus Roaming Pass on/off via the My Optus app or My Account anytime. Optus Roaming Pass will start as soon you make or receive a call, send an SMS, or use data (including MMS) in an eligible destination.

Do you have roaming inclusions in your plan?

If you have turned on Optus Roaming Pass, it will automatically start once you have exceeded your plan’s roaming data inclusion in an eligible Optus Roaming Pass destination. Otherwise, standard roaming rates will apply.

Need an extra pass?

After 24-hours or once you have used 1GB data (whichever comes first), another pass will automatically start if you continue to make or receive calls, send SMS or use data (including MMS) in an eligible destination. Standard roaming rates apply in all other destinations. We will also send you usage alerts to keep you updated.

Optus Roaming Pass is available for customers with an account number starting with a 62 on eligible Postpaid Mobile and Postpaid Mobile Broadband plans. If your account number starts with a 1, 2, 8 or 9, click here to view your roaming options.

Note: If you have previously purchased Optus Travel Packs or have roaming inclusions in your plan, these are for use in Zone 1 destinations. From the 15 March 2020 there will be changes to Zone 1 eligible destinations. You can find our complete list of roaming destinations here.
