I want to delay my activation of new SIM Card

I am transferring a number from Telstra to Optus and have just received the new phone (for my wife, same billing number), but, I do not want the number activated until she returns from work commitments as she has no way of getting the phone for a few days.  Any help would be apreciated.

Try giving Optus Sales Support a call on 1800555002 and see if they can put a hold on the order.  Check the instructions with your Order when you opened you may have to actually phone up to Activate your Service to port the number, you can always speak with Sales via Live chat on http://yesopt.us/chat2us and see if they can assist.
