How do I know my plan is really cancelled?

I finally was able to contact someone to cancel my mobile plan, but I never got a confirmation email that it "successfully cancelled". I am in the USA, so I am unable to call or visit a store to confirm. Also, my app has not gone past the log in page and the website messaging system hasn't worked. How do I confirm that my plan has actually been cancelled?

Yeah. Optus are not good at basic communications like this. At the moment getting in touch is very difficult too (Optus operations in particular has been hit hard by the virus). At this stage I'd just wait a month. See if you get another bill (You might but it should be a final bill and perhaps be for $0.)

Optus are good at fixing billing issues after they occur. So if you aren't cancelled then they'll have another go at it and recredit any money as necessary.
