Help fraudulent porting

Someone ported one of our business numbers today... any idea why they would do it but more importantly what they can access as a result?

Re: Help fraudulent porting

To port the number they’d need to know your account number, so if this information is available to your staff, perhaps it was your staff memeber? (Especially if they are leaving and wanted to keep the number).

As to what they can access? If you have 2 factor Authentication tied to your employee security services, they’d need a username/password too, but it’s hard to say directly.
