Hardship extension

Hi this morning I contacted Optus and spoke with a lovely lady who has advised me that my Hasrdship extension had been approved and that she would remove the restriction from my phone. this hasn't happened and it has been over an hour. unsure what I can do now

Suggest you wait until tomorrow. These are different departments and it can take time to action stuff internally. Also have you turned you phone completely off and back on again?

Hi there Tegzrose,


Service changes can take anywhere from 15 minutes - 4 hours, most often closer to the shorter timeframe.

Restarting your phone periodically should do the trick.


If 4+ hours elapses you may need to contact the Hardship team again to ensure they put it through.
