I am going overseas for 4 months, is there a precedence to freeze my sim only postpaid plan for that period? Applies to my wife's account as well. I am currently in contract.

Optus don't pause plans.
Perhaps find a friend and let them use/pay for the account for 4 months.

We do allow customers to suspend their service, we can suspend your service for up to 90 days, however there is monthly suspension fee of $5.50. This will also extend the length of your contract by the amount of days suspended.
