I have just gotten a new phone and a new SIM card because my other one got wet. I have activated the SIM and my whole phone is running well and can send imessages, etc. however cannot make phone calls. When I make a phone call or someone makes one to me I/they hear “the number you have dialled has been disconnected”. Any idea how I can fix this so that I can make calls?

Thank you for raising this issue.
It shouldn't be the case normally but the calls function may not be enabled on the Optus end.
This is not something that we can assist with here on the forum as we don't have visibility or access to customer accounts.
