Hi I was just wondering if I go on a 24 month tablet contract plan with monthly device repayments, am I am to get an invoice for the actual tablet/device costs for tax purposes?

Yes you should get a monthly tax invoice each billing period.
Edit: It will show a device charge assuming there was one to start off with. Many new plans don't have device charges as it comes with the plan.

We don't show the full cost of the hardware on your bills each month as they typically come with a handset credit to offset this. @Yeldarb has provided some great info above and is correct. Only the charged amount will show on your account and if there is no handset fee as per the $40 plan above, you'll just see that the hardware is allocated at $0 per month.
