Re: Data Streaming

The TV streaming is for mobile devices (phones and tablets that have a sim) and is not marketed for use on TV's.

The FAQ mentions that viewing the tv streaming via hotspot/tethering may incur usage and will be counted.

Perhaps a service like the Optus Home Wireless Broadband that gives you 200Gb of data for $70 a month which would be more than you have at the moment - then use that to stream to your tv?

Netflix stremaing usage (if not using the TV Streaming on a mobile device)

  • Low (0.3 GB per hour)

  • Medium (SD: 0.7 GB per hour)

  • High (Best video quality, up to 3 GB per hour for HD and 7 GB per hour for Ultra HD)
