Appologies and thanks for your continued help. You were correct. I tried the sim in another phone and it worked perfectly and the APN was "connect". I know I should have listened to you, but when I googled it I only got yesinternet and internet as the alternatives. The sim is back in the iphone with an APN of "connect" and it works. So thanks very much.
Hi @Melchester, looks like your are using a Mobile broadband SIM in an iPhone and this is causing the issue. Basically mobile broadband SIM's are designed as such that they work only in tablets or in USB modems. Let us know if you still need a hand with this.
