I have been calling Optus several times during the week in my lunch break to close my account.
I keep getting put on hold and on one ocassion when I did get through to an operator she said that they could not access my details due to an error with their system and could I call back later.
I have even tried the online chat but the minute I say I want to close my account I get a message saying I am being transferred and even if I wait 10 minutes nothing happens and the chat comes to an end.
What is the next step that I can take to close my account?
