We are currently overseas in Indonesia on our sailing boat. We are returning to Australia in the next 2 weeks. We had arranged with Optus to put our phone on hold whilst away ( estimated 12 months) but after contacting them last week found they hadn't. They said they could get our numbers back and would we like to start a new plan. We said yes, assuming we would just use our old SIM cards.
We've now had 2 new SIM cards delivered to our house address in QLD which we are unable to access as we are in Indonesia and sailing to Western Australia where we don't have an address. We have received an email to say these cards have been activated. We are trying to contact Optus to explain our situation but can't seem to message or speak to anyone.
We would like to have a working phone when we arrive in Australia and are in quarantine on our boat for 14 days.
Hoping someone can help us as to what to do
