For 24/7 support message our team of experts via the My Optus app.
Hi I signed up for a $40 plan that was discounted on special last month to $30 for my son and received the confirmation email stating it was all ok but when I didn’t receive the sim in the mail I contacted Optus and they said it didn’t go through because my son wasn’t 18. I didn’t think that would be a problem and just thought I could change it into my name but was told I would have to resubmit the application and that because that plan was no longer available Optus wouldn’t honour the agreement so how why can’t someone just ok the deal I had?
Optus are pretty strict on deals. Any deal you sign up for comes with a bunch of contractual provisos. They're stipulated but Optus can only check them on their end after you've started the process.
Unfortuantely you didn't qualify.

Peter Gillespie
