Sim only contract ends next month, but I want to keep it if possible

Bluekat

I signed up for a 12 month sim only plan last year when it was $35 for 30 gig of data. I've noticed that all the current plans are significantly higher. What will happen at the end of my contract? If I do nothing, will it continue along at that rate?

Yes it normally continues at the same rate unless specified otherwise in your contract.

That has been the case historically, however be aware Optus started classifying "Bonus" data in plans as only lasting for the intial term. If you had a deal like 15Gb + 15Gb Bonus then its possible the 15Gb will drop off. Optus don't seem consistent in how this happens and it probably won't but check your allowance in month 13. Not the monthly price won't change just the data.
