how do i see a list of current users on the b525 wireless modem
the home page only shows the total.

Hi @punk, just to clarify, are you looking to see the devices that are connected to your Huawei B525 modem?  

We do have a Guide to the router web interface for that specific device. As suggested in that guide, I recommend downloading the Huawei HiLink app for your Android or iOS device. You'll then be able to view more details regarding your connection there.
