mail110.syd.optusnet.com.au

Yet again an Optus mailserver is blacklisted, and yet again, Live Chat doesn't know how to deal with it and gave me the Outlook 13 number ......

Unfortunately, messages from [211.29.132.97] weren't sent. Please contact

your Internet service provider since part of their network is on our block

list (S3150). You can also refer your provider to

    http://mail.live.com/mail/troubleshooting.aspx#errors.

Please escalate this to someone who understands that if an Optus mailserver is blacklisted, an Optus technician needs to resolve it ....

Re: mail110.syd.optusnet.com.au

It can be a difficult issue to resolve depending on who is rejecting your emails. Many of the RBL systems have no delisting service and subsequently even with the right department looking at the issue they may have no say in getting the their mail servers removed from these blacklists. Incidentally another post below had the same issue with an IP address in the same range and it is still showing as blacklisted. One of the Optus moderators on the second post below suggests contacting faults on 13 13 44 however I don’t know if that will get you anywhere.

Re: mail110.syd.optusnet.com.au

Umm, yeah, that's why I included the entire error message in the post .... it's the Microsoft mailservers, and they do include delisting information in there.

It isn't just affecting me. It's affecting everyone whose email gets routed through mail110.syd.optusnet.com.au on it's way to hotmail.com, live.com, live.com.au and outlook.com email addresses ...

I certainly don't have the time to ring faults .... so I just re-send when it bounces, and it randomly goes through another of Optus' mailservers and gets delivered ..... but others won't necessarily know to do that .....

Thanks for your input.

Re: mail110.syd.optusnet.com.au

I understand what you are saying and short of an Optus moderator picking up this post that telephone number is the only information I have.
