Hi was wondering if any one knows how long it takes for a landline number to be activated, when changing phone number. My old one was disconnected but new one is still saying number incomplete or wrong, when it is dialed.
Have you followed up activation with Optus? Are you on the NBN, or Off the NBN? Did you get an Appointment time slot? Maybe have a chat with Customer Service on Live Chat at http://yesopt.us/chat2us
well its tuesday evening and still no home phone...all i wanted was a quick phone number change to get rid of annoying nuisance calls..thats 5 days waiting now. We are on the nbn, and have tried restarting modem, unplugging phone, and still nothing. I have tried ringing twice now, 1st time got put through to a department whos phone just kept ringing, and today they say there diagnostic tools are down so can i ring back in an hour or two...omg...what a long process for such a simple request.
