dsl down

Dsl has been down for a week now. I have tried restarting my router and waiting for it to rest, but nothing seems to be working.

Have you confirmed there is no known outage in your area? Best to check this link first: https://www.optus.com.au/shop/support/answer/how-to-check-network-status-outages?requestType=NormalR...

 

If there isn't an outage listed, I'd recommend getting in touch with Optus Technical support via phone or live chat (http://yesopt.us/chat2us).

There is no reported outage in the area, but the dsl stopped connecting suddenly last week. I don’t have anything attached that needs a filter, and I use a ADSL connection. I might contact tech support sometime soon.
