I just signed up for a 4 g mobile broadband plan and how do i check usage?
on my 3g plan i could text 9999 BAL to sms and this worked but doesnt now and checking my account doesnt work either> it says
The service you have selected is currently invalid and no usage is available

Yer have to create a my account shell to put it into. Its the Optus hazing ritual. Part of the ritual is figuring out how to get past the date of birth question, and trying to find the add service button.
linking a new account had 2 options 1 said add account number and other details i dont have.
The other said it will send me a code in 10 days
isnt there and y other way ?
You've got past the first level of the hazing, and now have to do it on Optus chat.
What you tell Chat is "I would like to create a My Account for my X plan". Give them your normal email address to base it on. That will be your login.
