Work from Home IMPOSSIBILITY

Have an NBN account, updated to max speed but get 45 max. Latency super high 39 sometimes 15...working from home looks to be impossible. Is there a workaround?

Those numbers are fine for work from home. Have you tried to dial in yet? FWIW you're in a lot better situation than many others. Are you on FTTN? At 45Mbps that would suggest Optus haven't applied the 100Mbps speed pack. Contact Optus and check on that.
