Weather-related disruption to Optus services

Last Updated : 13 February 2020 @11AM AEDT

Due to weather-related incidents across NSW and QLD, some Optus customers, including residential and businesses, may be experiencing disruption to their home phone and broadband services.

The Optus network relies on power. Due to the extreme nature of the weather events and widespread power outages, services in some areas may be disrupted.

Our team is restoring access as a priority but in some cases, weather incidents may be hindering access to network sites. Our technicians are on stand-by to access sites and restore services as soon as it is safe to do so.

Thank you for your patience as we work to restore services in these areas below;
