We have been transferred to Optus recently during the Vivid shutdown however our previous plan of $70 for unlimited data for wireless broadband has not been honoured and we are actually be overcharged at $70 for 200GB (Optus plan is $65 for 200GB) Attempts to get the unlimited data back through the idiots running the online chat have been futile. Just wondering if anyone else is having the same issue?
Were you communicated to by Optus at all, about them changing the plan at all? Did you ask to speak with a Team Leader to discuss why you were moved to the new plan?
If your not happy with the resolution, you can always lodge a complaint, and have a case manager look into why you were moved to the new plans, the old plans may have been discontinued by Optus. Its common for Telcos to move customers off plans, who are out of contract that are no longer offered to new rate plans.
