my fixed wireless account has been transferred from Vivid to Optus. I moved from NSW to regional VIC and I am not getting any service on my router. I went to Optus shop and they gave me Vivid support number to talk to. On calling Vivid, they advised that they can’t do anything as account has been already transferred to Optus. On calling Optus technical team, they asked to call Vivid again which I didn’t. The lady kept on convincing me to buy new optus plan with lock in contract with no idea what I was talking about. Has someone gone through the sam situation? Any solutions please??

Vividwireless unlimited plans irregardless if migrated to Optus or not cannot work in regional areas.
Cannot work = Optus does not own the license to operate that particular 4g frequency (nbn owns it).

If Optus does not own the frequency, how come the are able to provide fixed broadband. As far as I know, vivid uses optus network, and if optus works, vivid should also work. Any further guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Optus owns the 2300Mhz license in capital cities (and Newcastle)
It does not own the licence outside of these areas - nbn owns it.
Vividwireless unlimited plans only use 2300Mhz and not the other 4g bands that Optus uses.

You need to find a plan that works where you now live.
All depends if you can get Optus coverage where you live or even may get NBN of some sort.
