Hi guys. I'm wondering if someone can please help me identify the type of USB ports found on my Sagemcom 5366TN. It's not one that I'm familiar with. Thanks for any help, J.

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. Do you know if type C has multiple versions i.e micro, mini, etc or is there only one type?

It comes in just the one size.

If you don't want to buy a new cable you can always buy a "USB Type-C Male to USB Type-A Female" adaptor.

Thanks YAA and thanks also for the suggestions about the adaptor. That's exactly what I'll do. Cheers, J.

Re: Type of USB port Sagemcom 5366TN

@YetAnotherAcc Hi

1) would these eBay Adapters work on the Type C USB Port for a USB HDD & printer?

High Speed (Type C 3.1) to 4-Ports USB 3.0 Multi HUB Splitter Adapter Laptop PC

USB-C OTG Adapter USB 3.1 Type C Male to USB 3.0 Female Converter

2) There are also USB 3.0 Type C adapters, not sure what the difference is.

USB HDDs should not be a problem. I've personally tested it with a NTFS formatted 4TB WD Passport.

I don't know about printers though. I don't recall reading about anyone using a USB printers that's directly connected to the 5366.

I don't know if USB hubs are supported.

OTG adapters (with the right end connectors of course) work fine. That's what I used with the 4TB HDD.

2) There are also USB 3.0 Type C adapters, not sure what the difference is.

The difference between 3.0 and 3.1 is power delivery and speed.  3.0 should be fine for anything you might want to connect.
