Support not being very supportive

A couple of times support have promised to call back, but have not.

Since they provide my landline, mobile, and email, and they send things to my postal address, they can't really say they had trouble getting in contact with me.

Is there a grown-up I can speak to?

I don't know whether support offering to call back is sanctioned or not.


If it is then Optus should really be putting in place systems to ensure they happen as promised. Many annoyed posts here are not about whether an issue has been resolved yet, but about unsoliceted promises by staff to call back. Do they just hang up the phone and decide its now someone elses problem to deal with next time?
