I put in an URL filtering under parental control a few weeks ago for a website. I now try to remove the filter but the option of adding or removing URL is no longer available. Can anyone help me on how to overcome this?
I just tried it and works fine for me.
On the URL Filter page the URL should be listed, just click the "x" that's to the right of "Options" and that should do it. You don't even need to press the apply button for the changes to be saved.
Unfortunately, the url filtering page used to be under:
Network Settings -> Parental Control. However, it is no longer available there and I search through the whole router setting and there's no URL Filtering to be found.
The problem is, the url filter for my router somehow has disappear (it used to display just like what you showed in your screen shot):
I've factory reset the router and now the filters are all clear...a bit painful but worked. 🙂
I am also facing this issue where the URL filtering option has been taken off and no longer available in my Fast5366TN. I raise a tech help support request only to receive a written reply that said "If the customer wants to block specific websites, they will need to do it at their end, purchase a parental software or a router/hardware that allows it"
I though help keep internet safe for children was obligatory for all ISP's.
I wouldn't mind doing it on the router but Optus has locked/removed this feature. they have also locked the DNS on the router so we can't use available DNS which provide safe browsing.
Any help and advice would be most appreciated.
I am on NBN FTTC DSL.
Thanks in advance.
My software version is this: SG4Y1L001019
Thanks @JoshuaIsMe .
The URL filter option has now disappeared for me as well.
