Return of leased phones

My wife and I were leasing our phones on our previous contracts and we now need to return them. Can we visit a store or do we have to send them by mail.
If by mail, what address do we use?

Re: Return of leased phones

Hey @Cogsy, thanks for reaching out. You are more than welcome to drop off your leased device in stores. However if you were wanting to send them via a return satchel through the Australian Post, our teams can have this arranged for you also.

I would recommend chatting with our Support channel via the My Optus App to have this organised. Our Messaging team are available 24/7 and are ready to assist customers as quickly as possible

Re: Return of leased phones

Make sure you disable any phone FIND ME options (esp. on an Apple account).

Also take some photos of each phone before you hand them over.

Just adding to @petergdownload's response @Cogsy, you can refer to our Support Article on How To Return Your Leased Phone Device for further instructions.
