Possible HFC outage in Newport Vic

Hi,

is there a known issue with cable/HFC in Newport Vic?

Yes cable is down and the cause is under investigation.

Yeah nothing in altona north either , maybe there upgrading the network for faster speeds 🙄🙄

Let's just hope the already patchy internet connections don't get worse!!!

This link only shows mobile coverage. I had already spent some time and found it, but couldn’t see anything relevant to my question.

 

you would think Optus only sold mobiles.

On the right side of the page there is a tick box for outages and fixed services.

It is very difficult to find on my iPad, unless I happen to start in the right place on the page, or know to scroll for it.  I missed it completely this morning.

 

so why is it still under investigation some 8-10hours later?

I can't answer that question Brian. If your service is still not working you might be best to jump on the live chat link below or the live chat in the Optus app and ask Optus support staff what is happening in your area.
