Outage in Frenchs Forest

Anyone know what’s the cause of the latest outage. All too frequent and wonder if it’s because of all the infrastructure work going on. Last time it was asbestos and got no information until the papers took it up

Sorry to hear of the issues, can you confirm which network this is in relation to? (Mobile, NBN, HFC, ADSL). I will see if there is more information I can provide

Thanks. It’s NBN and it’s near the hospital site. Love to know why it’s happened. We get no information from Optus so a few thousand frustrated residents

Thanks for confirming. I can see a fault ticket has been raised for nodes in the area, but they are still investigating so it is unclear as to what's caused this. Please search your address in the service status page (select Outages > Fixed Outages in the top right corner). A live outage will show with the option to "Report your fault here", select this and follow the prompts to enter in your account information. This will be sent straight to the team who are investigating. They will then SMS you a personal fault reference and provide updates as progress is made.
