Not being able to send bigpond email through my Optus Broadband service

Hi I have a business email address with bigpond (###@bigpond.com) I can receive incoming mails but I am unable to send messages using this address on my Optus bradband service.

Is there a possibility to fix this?

Hi,
Not knowing your setup.. You could send via the optus mail server and not relay via bigpond.com or maybe it's time for you to migrate your bigpond service to outlook.com then it won't worry you which service you're hanging off.

Hi jg1, yes it does to be your outgoing server settings - which client are you using? May be best to contact your provider's support team in order to ensure you have the correct settings.
