No internet on broadband

I have no broadband internet for 9 days, was visited by technician 5 days ago who checked out the cable and he told me the line was not getting signal from outside. Said it would be fixed in 48 hours.

When I try to ring to see what is happening no one answers the phone. Am I ringing the right number.
