No adsl

Hi, I'm just trying to find out where to send a third party fault report showing fault in the street. Called optus a few days ago but all they said was get a new splitter  for phone. Anyway, report shows download of 0mbps, but we have it up to 0.5 .. great.

Is there any email address I can send the report too.

Thanks

Re: No adsl

You'll need to call Optus and arrange for a tech to come out and inspect the line.

They'll tell you if the fault is found on your property then you'll be up for a $120-$300 fee.

As you know the fault is in the street then that should be no issue.

FWIW Optus will just ring Telstra to send out a technician. I suspect there's no process in place to take third party reports (much though it might speed up the process in this case). If you're at home when the telstra guy comes knocking you can show it then - although its possible they'll find and fix the fault without needing to go to your house.
